A group of young boys are playing football and their star player "Mirko" (Gabriele Sgrignuoli) never wants to pass the ball. When one of them kicks it into touch, he goes to fetch it and meets a young girl (Maria Elena Shiorlin) who is sitting on the wall texting her friend. When the lads tire of their game, the cocky "Mirko" goes back to ask her if she wants to come for some gelato with them. When he walks around her wall, though, he is met by a sight that horrifies him and truly dooms their fledgling romance. It's actually quite a funny little feature this, that deliberately leads us in one, rather unpleasant, direction only to remind us all that in Italy, well some things really are just too important!! Both kids deliver quite engagingly here and it's quite cleverly written.
